González Pasos Real Estate is the pioneer of this business in Nicaragua. Its roots go back to the last century, beginning of the 30’s, when Dn. Alfonso González Cervantes married Dña. Julia Pasos Downing started the González Pasos family. Dña. Julia was known since that time to be one of the first persons that rented completely furnished homes and apartments and Dn. Alfonso stood out for raising the first buildings and mansions of those times such as: the building of the Pacific Railroad of Nicaragua, the famous mansion Teodolinda, the National Library, the Monte de Piedad and many other dwellings. Dn. Alfonso started new developments such as Santa Marta, known today as Las Palmas.

After the 1972 earthquake, Dña. Julia together with her son, Alejandro González Pasos, dedicated her efforts, her energy and full time to the Real Estate business that has been acknowledged, by Nicaraguans as well as foreigners, for its integrity, honesty, continuity and efficiency.
González Pasos besides being the pioneer is the only company that has survived the earthquake, the Civil War and all the government changes without closing its doors.
